Certified Master Plumber Sewer Inspection Report: Why Our Narrated Video Process Protects Home Buyers

Certified Master Plumber Sewer Inspection Report with Narrated Video

Why Our Narrated Video Sewer Inspection Reports Are Different

Most sewer inspections end with a few photos, a short summary, and a repair recommendation.

At The Sewer Inspection Company, we believe our clients deserve far more than that.

That’s why every inspection includes a narrated sewer inspection video prepared by a Texas Licensed Master Plumber, along with a written Certified Master Plumber Report that documents the findings in a clear, professional, and transparent format.

Our goal is simple:

Show you exactly what we see. Explain exactly what it means. Provide documentation you can trust.

Our Inspection Process

Step 1: Perform the Sewer Camera Inspection

Using professional RIDGID SeeSnake sewer camera equipment, we inspect the sewer line from the accessible cleanout to the city connection whenever possible.

During the inspection we evaluate:

  • Root intrusion
  • Standing water
  • Bellied sewer lines
  • Broken pipes
  • Pipe separations
  • Offset joints
  • Cast iron deterioration
  • Construction debris
  • Drainage flow conditions
  • Overall pipe condition

Step 2: Record the Entire Inspection

Unlike many inspections that rely on a handful of screenshots, we record the actual inspection video.

This creates a permanent visual record of the sewer system at the time of the inspection.

The video becomes evidence of the actual condition of the pipe.

Step 3: Prepare a Narrated YouTube Video

This is what makes our inspections different.

After reviewing the inspection footage, we prepare a narrated video explaining exactly what was found inside the sewer line.

The video is uploaded to:

https://www.youtube.com/@THESEWERINSPECTIONCOMPANY

During the narration, a Texas Licensed Master Plumber explains:

  • What you are looking at
  • Where defects are located
  • Whether conditions are maintenance items or repair items
  • How serious the issue is
  • Potential future concerns
  • Recommended next steps

This eliminates confusion and creates complete transparency.

Step 4: Share the Video Link With You

Once the narrated video is completed, we provide you with a direct video link.

This allows you to:

  • Watch the inspection on your own schedule
  • Review the findings as many times as needed
  • Share the video with your Realtor
  • Share the video with your spouse
  • Share the video with contractors
  • Share the video with attorneys or insurance professionals if necessary
  • Retain a permanent record of the inspection

Many clients tell us this is one of the most valuable parts of the inspection because they are not forced to rely solely on a written summary.

They can actually see the condition of the sewer line for themselves.

Step 5: Prepare the Certified Master Plumber Report

After the video review is completed, we prepare a written report documenting the findings.

This is not simply a generic checklist.

This is a report prepared by a Texas Licensed Master Plumber.

Why Does a Master Plumber Report Matter?

A sewer camera can show images.

A Master Plumber understands what those images mean.

There is a significant difference between:

  • Operating a camera
  • Interpreting plumbing systems
  • Understanding pipe materials
  • Understanding drainage design
  • Recognizing structural defects
  • Differentiating maintenance issues from repair issues
  • Evaluating long-term plumbing performance

The camera provides the footage. The Master Plumber provides the interpretation.

The Written Report Reflects the Video Findings

One of the biggest concerns buyers have is whether the written report accurately matches the inspection footage.

At The Sewer Inspection Company, the written report is based directly on the narrated video review.

The report and the video work together.

  • The video shows the condition.
  • The narration explains the condition.
  • The report documents the condition.

This creates a highly transparent inspection process that allows everyone involved in the transaction to review the same information.

Why Realtors Love the Narrated Video

Many Realtors use our narrated video reports because they create clarity during negotiations.

Instead of relying on verbal descriptions, all parties can review the actual footage and hear the professional explanation.

This often reduces confusion and helps buyers and sellers make informed decisions.
